Before You Proceed...
This tutorial is aimed
at people who are new to vector graphics. To the right you see the FreeHand9
tool bar. The arrow tool is the 'Pointer Tool', the tool
with 'A' is the 'Text Tool' and the ellipse you see just
below the rectangle is the 'Ellipse Tool'. In this example
we will be using only these tools.
The aim of this project is to create text which flows in a circle.
|
Step I
Select the Ellipse tool. With the Shift key pressed, draw
a circle. When the shift key is pressed, the ellipse tool draws
a perfect circle.
|
Step II
Now select the text tool. Type the text anywhere on the canvas.
Select the pointer tool any click anywhere on the blank space of
the canvas. This action removes the text edit mode.
|
Step III
Select the pointer tool. With the shift key pressed, click
on the text and the circle.
|
Step IV
Once you have selected the text and the circle as shown in the
above picture, you can finish off the job by selecting from the
menu bar Text>Attach To Path.
|
Step V
The final result as I got it is displayed to the right. Hope you also got it!
