I code HTML in non-WYSIWYG editors. One of the basic objective of this site was to publish as tutorials what I learn. So I was faced with the problem of converting huge amount of HTML, JavaScript, PHP etc. codes into the HTML format. This application was developed for speedy conversion of all these codes into HTML format.
For converting HTML special characters. Can also be used for translating CDATA in XML.
Any OS supporting Java2 (J2SDK 1.4 and above) runtime environment.
Unzip the zip file. It will create a directory htmlsplchars. Go into this directory and click on "run.bat" (If you are using Windows). Other OS users, just run `java SplCharsApp'.
This software is distributed on GNU/GPL licence.
